The audio tracks of a mix project are in most cases too large to be sent by email. If the file volume exceeds 10 MB, I recommend using the free file transfer service at www.wetransfer.com.
After registering, archives up to 2 GB can be sent with Wetransfer without any charges.
No installation or similar is necessary – only email and internet access are required.
Enter on www.wetransfer.com
– email@example.com as the recipient’s address
– song name and artist name as the title and
– any additional information in the message text field.
After sending the file archive, I receive an email with a download link and can access the files.
The finished mixes are sent back the same way.
Mix projects can differ significantly in terms of objectives, framework conditions and scope.
The number of revisions is basically an individual agreement.
For a normal mixproject for a song 3 revisions are included in the price.
Further revisions can then be purchased if necessary.
This depends on the individual project (timing corrections and vocal tuning, for example, take more time).
In most cases, the mix is ready for broadcast after one week.
Example (Mixing Project):
– You send me tracks, tempo, reference artists/songs and the rough mix.
– I check the audio files and details and come back to you if necessary, if something is missing or needs to be clarified.
– I create the first mix and send it to you for reviewing.
– I adjust the mix according to your wishes and send you the next version for the second review (similar procedure for the third review).
– You receive the final mix in the agreed format.
